Esteban Valencia’s Family

My name is Esteban Valencia. I’m 18 years old and I live in the west of Cali with my mother; her name is Marleny. We live in my grandmother’s house. It has four floors and we live in the fourth floor; there is a living room where the dining table is, there are two bedrooms with two single beds, a kitchen, a bathroom and a small backyard.

I have a brother; his name is Andres and he has a son; his name is Samuel. I also have two half-brothers and a stepbrother; their names are Iam, Erick and Janier and they live with David, my father. 

                                          

My mother is 48 years old and she is from Miranda, Cauca. She is a seamstress and she works at the Aquarius Company making swimwear. She likes her job and she loves going to the river and going for a walk to the countryside. Every day she wakes up at 5 a.m. and she goes to work until 6 p.m. At night, she watches the news or a movie with me. She is very responsible, understanding and I love her very much.

My father is 50 years old. He is currently married to Janier’s mom and he lives with her and my half-brothers and stepbrother.  He is a car driver and he is so smart and wise. He wakes up at 6:30 a.m. and he goes to work all day in his car. At night, he comes home tired then he has dinner and goes to sleep. He loves to go to the church and to pray to God for all of us. He doesn’t like disobedience. I love him and respect him a lot.

Iam and Erick are David’s children; they are 3 and 10 years old. Iam is shy and he loves playing, Erick is a student and he is playful. They are lovely and I love them so much.

Andres is Marleny and David’s son. He is 26 years old and he lives with his new girlfriend. He is a bartender at a disco. Some days during the day he works as an uber driver and every day he goes to work all night. He loves his son and he likes sleeping. He is kind, brave and I love him.

Samuel is Esteban’s nephew. He is 9 years old. He lives with his mom in Medellin. He is a student and he is cheerful, smart and sprightly. During the week, he wakes up early to go to his school, in the afternoon he does his homework and then he goes out to play at the park. He likes to play soccer and he loves going to a park or a pool. We all love him!
