Sarah´s Family

My name is Sarah Juliana Diaz Londoño. I am from Cali, but I live in Puerto Asis. I am seventeen years old.

My family is different. My mom is Lorena Londoño and my dad is Rafael Diaz, but I didn’t meet him because he died when I was in my mom’s belly. My mom met a man, who eventually became my dad. His name is Eduardo Lesmes. I have three sisters and two brothers. Their names are Rafael Diaz and Paula Diaz (they are Rafael´s children) Daniela Lesmes (she is Eduardo´s daughter) Martin Galindo and Sophia Lesmes (they are Lorena’s children).

I live in a country house; I live with my grandmother, my mother, my sister, my brother, my aunt, my cousin, two cats and three dogs. The house has two floors. the rooms are on the second floor.

When you enter, you find the garage, then the living room and further to the back the kitchen next to the dining room; we have two: one for us and another large one for meetings. The kitchen is large, it has a back door that connects to the laundry room and the patio, we also have the view of the lake. We have all what we need; fridge, microwave, stove… My granny likes to hang the pots on top. The living room is very spacious and there are chairs and sofas, next to it, it’s the large dining room for 24 people. Down stairs it’s the hallway, there is a social bathroom, coming to the patio, there is another laundry room and a bathroom too.

 When we go upstairs, there are 4 rooms. On the right side, it’s my aunt and cousin’s room, then on the left it is mine and my sister’s, next to it, it’s my grandmother’s and finally my mom and brother’s room. All the rooms are connected. we have two bathrooms in the middle of the rooms, we also have a nice big balcony. Each room has 2 beds and their TVS. We like to sleep together, so we usually only use 2 bedrooms. My pets sleep downstairs, and they take care of the house, I love my house because I live surrounded by nature.

My mom is a production engineer, my grandma owns a hotel and a restaurant, but she likes to attend events at our house. My aunt is a fashion designer. I study law. Sophia, Martín and Selva are still at school.

I like to go to the river with my family and friends. I don´t like being away from home but I have to study and outdo myself, so I came to live in Cali because in my municipality there is no educational offers.
